Brand history
(1972) FOUNDATION
Foundation of the company SOLTON Music by Josef Sperl and establishment of the administration and production facility in Pocking Germany with focus on the production of guitar, bass tube amplifiers and loudspeaker cabinets.
(1975) INTERNATIONAL BREAKTHROUGH
The great international breakthrough came with the development and production of the first rotor cabinets made in Europe by SOLTON, two-part and easily transportable.
(1975/2) FATS DOMINO & SOLTON
In 1986, Fats Domino entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
In 1987, won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award (Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson were both winners of the award)
In 1998, President Clinton awarded him the National Medal for art. Elvis Presley calls Fat Domino “the real king of rock”.
1975 - 1976, Fats Domino toured Europe with a full set of SOLTON audio equipment.

In 1975, HANOWA established strategic cooperation with SOLTON.
(1976) BILL HALEY
Bill Haley (King of Rock'n Roll) went on a European tour with complete SOLTON equipment.
In the early 1950s, his band “Bill Haley and his comets” (inspired by Halley's comet) published extremely popular songs like [Rock Around the Clock], [Shake, Rattle and Roll] and [Rocket 88]
(1979) ORGAN BUSINESS
SOLTON enter into the organ business in cooperation with CRB Italy.
(1981) Musikmesse Frankfurt
SOLTON first show at Musikmesse Frankfurt Pro audio Exhibition, attracts a lot of visitors.
(1981/2) KETRON
Founding of a sister company in Italy (Ketron) and beginning the development state-of-the-art keyboard technology.
(1983) PIANO PRODUCTION
Beginning of the SOLTON piano production in Kronach Germany and built up Piano brand Klug & Sperl.
Klug & Sperl brand Pianos still exists on the market, unit price would be over €4000.
(1987) COOPERATION WITH TESLA
Extension of the production of amplifiers in cooperation with TESLA (Czech Republic) Presentation at Messe Frankfurt the intelligent processor systems for PA Systems.
(1989) HANOWA Launched C Series

Hanowa launched A-280 audio equalizer, sales reached 500,000 sets.
(1992) PIANO COOPERATION
Piano cooperation with Petrof and IFM (Czech Republic).
In 1864, Mr. Petrof produced his first grand piano, which laid a good foundation for the production of PETROF brand’s high end musical instruments.
